The KFP digitization was followed by updating taxonomy according to the "N. Platnick, The World Spider Catalog, Version 15", currently the basic source for taxonomic nomenclature of spiders.
Taxa groups are supervised by specialists who update taxonomical changes and maintain checklists. The group names listed below are followed by references to authors of species checklists (the author list at the bottom).
